David Allen and John Forrister talk about the Natural Planning Model, and invite you to send in your stories about your experience with it. If you are new to this model, or have not used it recently, you can click here to get a template, project planning trigger list, and editable PDF worksheet to capture your project thinking. David also mentions his TEDx presentation called "Getting in Control and Creating Space." In that talk, he walks the audience through the Natural Planning Model. David is exploring the idea of writing a manual about the Natural Planning Model. He would love to include stories from GTD enthusiasts about their experience using it. Please feel free to email connect@davidco.com with any story you have, about using any part of the Natural Planning Model.

Prepare to be inspired by Simon Penhaligon's one-weekend implementation of GTD. After agreeing to take on twice his usual workload, Simon knew he needed a new way of working. Over one intense weekend, he listened to the Getting Things Done audiobook, and set up his system. Since getting into the GTD groove, Simon has been able to handle the expanded workload, while driving his inbox to zero daily, and still spending evenings and weekends with his wife and daughter. He uses Microsoft Outlook for email and calendar, and Evernote for everything else.
